Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate, creative Year 1 Homeroom (Advisory) Teacher to join our Key Stage 1 Team. In addition to being the Year 1 Homeroom Teacher, this person will serve as the Years 1 and 2 English and Social Studies Teacher. Under the supervision of the Academic Leadership Team, you will design and deliver an engaging, play-based and exploratory learning academic programme that supports each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. You will work closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff to create a joyful classroom where children develop a lifelong love of learning.
Required Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education or equivalent
-Teaching qualification/certification from native country (PGCE, QTS, Diploma in EYFS or comparable credential)
-Teaching experience in lower years or equivalent
-Familiarity with the British academic frameworks and exposure and exposure to play and project-based learning preferred
-Experience working in an international school environment desirable
-This candidate must be a Native English Speaker (NES)
Key Responsibilities:
-Plan, prepare and deliver the Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2) curriculum in line with the Cambridge International Standards and CISB’s project-based and exploratory teaching philosophy/framework
-Use formative and summative assessments to track progress and adapt learning experiences to meet individual needs
-Create a safe, stimulating, inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, risk-taking and independent learning
I-mplement continuous provision, adult-led and child-initiated activities, integrating literacy, phonics, ICT and the arts
-Maintain accurate records: learning journals, progress trackers, attendance and behavior logs
-Lead parent–teacher meetings, produce termly reports and communicate regularly via newsletters or digital platforms
-Foster positive behavior management using restorative approaches and school-wide values
-Collaborate with colleagues on cross-phase projects, school events and whole-school initiatives (e.g. International Day, STEAM week)
-Take responsibility for your own professional development and contribute to staff training and curriculum review
-Other duties as assigned by the Academic Leadership Team

-Salary (Starting at 40,000 THB per month/depending on experience)
