Responsibilities
Teaching and Learning
Plan and deliver engaging lessons.
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student achievement.
Integrate technology into classroom instruction.
Foster critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration skills.
Classroom Environment
Establish a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture.
Implement effective classroom management strategies.
Support students' social-emotional development and well-being.
Promote student independence, responsibility, and positive behavior.
Collaboration
Work closely with grade-level colleagues, learning support teachers, counselors, and specialists.
Participate in curriculum planning and professional learning communities.
Contribute to school improvement initiatives and accreditation processes when required.
Parent Communication
Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress.
Conduct parent-teacher conferences.
Prepare report cards and student progress reports.
Partner with families to support student success.
School Community
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
Supervise students during recess, lunch, arrival, dismissal, and other assigned duties.
Lead or support extracurricular activities, clubs, or after-school programs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field.
Valid teaching license/certification from the US, Canada, UK, Australia, or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of elementary teaching experience.
Fluent English communication skills.
