POSITION: THAI TEACHER
Highgate International School Thailand will open in August 2026. A premium international school located in the beautiful province of Chonburi, it will cater for students between the ages of 2 and 18.
Operated in partnership with Siam Motors Group and Highgate School, London, staff will enjoy access to a wide range of world-class facilities, to include a full-sized FIFA approved football pitch, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a 450-seater auditorium, a black-box theatre, a STEM building and a Library and Digital Media Centre. They will draw upon a rich academic heritage spanning 460 years.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Thai Teacher will:
• Plan, implement and review an engaging and responsive Thai programme of study for native and non-native Pre-Prep and Junior School students that subsumes linguistic, cultural and historical aspects of learning
• Record, engage with and utilise both formative and summative attainment data
• Foster curiosity, rigour, engagement, enthusiasm, community and kindness among the student population
• Work in accordance with school policy and in the wider interests of the school
• Contribute positively to a school culture founded upon the considered maintenance of high expectations
• Communicate effectively with members of the wider school community
• Attend regular meetings and support the safe running of the school campus

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
The Thai Teacher will:
• Bachelor’s of Education major or Thai language degree and teaching license.
• Be a fully qualified primary teacher
• Be a native-level user of Thai
• Have a minimum of three years of post-qualification experience
• Proficiency in both Thai and English.
• Experience teaching within an international school.
• Flexible and proactive.
• Ability to work as part of a large team.
