The Junior School builds on the strong foundations established in DUCKS, providing a dynamic, challenging, and supportive environment for students in Key Stage 2 (ages 7–11). It is grounded in the belief that children learn best when they feel happy, confident, and engaged. The Junior School fosters a love of learning through inquiry, creativity, academic rigour, and meaningful relationships.
The curriculum blends the English National Curriculum with international best practices, offering a broad, balanced, and intellectually stimulating education. Through a rich programme of academic, creative, sporting, and co-curricular opportunities, students develop essential skills in literacy, numeracy, communication, critical thinking, and personal development.
Junior School teachers create inclusive, purposeful, and inspiring learning environments where students are challenged and supported to achieve their potential. They are facilitators of inquiry, collaboration, and independent thinking, helping children to grow as confident, compassionate, and capable learners who are well prepared for the next stage of their education.
