Thai Language Teacher
The Greenacre International School, Koh Samui, Surat Thani requires a full time Thai Language to teach Foundation, Primary and Secondary level
Roles and Responsibilities
- Teach Thai language, Thai culture, and Thai history to primary- Secondary level international students using age-appropriate teaching methods in line with school regulations and curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans and maintain class records.
- Participate in lesson observations and peer observation sessions. Perform daily school duties as assigned.
- Organize Thai cultural events per academic year i.e. Loy Krathong, Father's Day and Songkran Day
- Work collaboratively and creatively with the Thai department team. Participate in both internal and external school activities.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Proficient in English communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (Thai major) or related fields (recent graduates with a passion for teaching and self-development are welcome).
- Hold a valid teaching license.
- Prior experience in international schools or multicultural environments is an advantage.
- Classroom management and instructional material development skills, including online and handmade resources.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a growth mindset.
