Mukdahan School

We are a high school offering a Mini English Program (MEP).

We are currently seeking qualified teachers to join our growing team. The school has openings for one English teacher and one Math teacher, both of whom will be part of a dedicated group of foreign educators.

Located in Mukdahan Province in the northeastern region of Thailand, the school sits along the border with Laos. This area offers a peaceful and relaxed lifestyle, making it an attractive location for teachers seeking a slower pace of life. The local community is known for its friendliness and welcoming nature.

Although the initial interview will be conducted online, successful candidates must be prepared to travel to the school to finalize their contracts in person shortly after the interview process. This allows for a smooth onboarding and transition into the new role.

There are two teaching roles currently open: one for an English teacher and another for a Math teacher. Both positions are part of the Mini English Program, which emphasizes instruction in English and follows a curriculum designed to boost students' language proficiency and academic success.

Salary packages differ based on nationality and native language status. Native English speakers from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are offered a monthly salary of 35,000–40,000 Baht. European English speakers are eligible for 30,000 Baht, while non-native English speakers will receive 25,000 Baht.

Applicants must possess at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area. In addition, candidates should have completed a teaching qualification with no fewer than 15 credits or hold certification in teaching-related programs such as CELT-P, CELT-S, TESOL Level 5, TEFL, TKT, YL, CLIL, TDI, or other credentials recognized by the Teachers Council of Thailand.

Having a Thai teaching license or other professional teaching certifications is considered an asset. This demonstrates both professional competence and compliance with local educational standards and regulations.

Non-native English speakers are also required to submit proof of English language proficiency. Accepted standards include test scores that meet at least a CEFR B2 level, ensuring the ability to teach in English effectively.
