Technical Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education (Computer Science/STEM focus), Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Block-Based Proficiency: Experience teaching Scratch, MIT App Inventor, and MakeCode (specifically for Micro:bit)
- Maker Skills: Proven experience in the maker field, including operating and troubleshooting equipment such as 3D printers and laser cutters
Soft Skills & Pedagogy
- Project-Based Learning (PBL): Ability to guide students through the “Design Thinking” process—from ideation to prototyping
- Safety Mindset: Strong adherence to workshop safety protocols and the ability to instill safe practices in students
- Adaptability: Comfortable embracing trial and error, and learning alongside students when code or builds do not work as expected
