The School:
King’s College International School Bangkok is a King’s College School Wimbledon International School. We opened in September 2020 for boys and girls and now cater for over 1,600 students aged 2 –18 in Early Years to Year 13, offering IGCSEs, A levels and pathways to the world’s best universities.
We work closely with King’s Wimbledon to provide a well-structured education that aims to instil a love of learning, creativity and independence in our students. The Position:
The school wishes to appoint a well-qualified Teacher of Music (Primary) to develop and deliver an outstanding learning experience for primary school students. They will have a focus on student-centred learning, such as practical work, and have strong subject knowledge to engage, inspire and extend our students.
The Primary Department prides itself on teaching in innovative, creative and forward-thinking ways through our Learner Profile and an enquiry approach to teaching and learning.
Since 2020, the music department has grown rapidly, and this post offers an exciting opportunity for a candidate who will inspire students, set the highest standards of teaching and learning, and help establish clear systems and structures to support continued growth and future excellence.
Alongside this, we have an expanding instrumental programme and are seeking a candidate who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues to support and develop this provision. Experience of contributing to the development of an instrumental scheme would be an advantage.
This position will also play an active role in the co-curricular activities and the pastoral welfare of our community.
