Job overview
The Beginning of a Great Heart

The School:

King’s College International School Bangkok is a King’s College School Wimbledon International School. We opened in September 2020 for boys and girls and now cater for over 1,600 students aged 2 –18 in Early Years to Year 13, offering IGCSEs, A levels and pathways to the world’s best universities.

We work closely with King’s Wimbledon to provide a well-structured education that aims to instil a love of learning, creativity and independence in our students. Our vision is to engage, inspire and extend our students. We want our alumni to be successful in their own ways. We do this with the values of kindness, good manners and wisdom in a friendly, welcoming and attractive environment.

We are looking for outstanding teachers who embody our values, can inspire students and who understand the values of a UK-style education.

We really value our teachers and we recruit the best. To help us do this, we offer an excellent package of international benefits including annual flight allowance, medical insurance, housing allowance, a competitive salary and places in school for up to two children subject to our admissions process.

The Position:

The school wishes to appoint a dedicated, well-qualified Teacher of Mathematics to develop and deliver an outstanding learning experience for our students.

Our rapid growth since opening in 2020 provides this exciting opportunity for a candidate who will inspire, set the highest of standards, and build systems to ensure that we set the scene for excellence. We have high levels of interest in International A level Mathematics and International A level Further Mathematics, and we are seeking colleagues who have experience in delivering these advanced courses. Our students in years 10 and 11 work towards Pearson IGCSE Mathematics, and selected pupils also work towards IGCSE Further Pure Mathematics.

The candidate appointed to this position will play an active role in the co-curricular and pastoral aspects of the school, with the opportunity of being a form tutor for the right candidate.

If you value colleagues who support you, are excited by a new school environment in which we work hard for each other, and have a nurturing approach to education, we would welcome your application for a position with us.
