The School:
King’s College International School Bangkok is a King’s College School Wimbledon International School which opened in 2020 for boys and girls and now cater for over 1,300 students aged 2-17 in Early Years to Year 12, offering IGCSEs, A levels and pathways to the world’s best universities. We will open Year 13 in August 2024, and next year we will grow to over 1,500 students.
We work closely with King’s Wimbledon to provide a well-structured education that aims to instil a love of learning, creativity and independence in our students. The Position:
The school wishes to appoint a dedicated, well-qualified Teacher of Mathematics to develop and deliver an outstanding learning experience for our students.
Since 2020 we have grown rapidly and this is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who will inspire, set the highest of standards and build systems to ensure that as we continue to grow we set the scene for future excellence. We have high levels of interest in International A level Mathematics and International A level Further Mathematics, and we are seeking colleagues who have experience in delivering these advanced courses. Our students in years 10 and 11 work towards sitting IGCSE Mathematics, and for some IGCSE Further Mathematics. Looking ahead, we hope to introduce the AQA Mathematical Studies qualification to our array of options.
This position will also play an active role in the co-curricular and pastoral aspects of the school with the opportunity of being a form tutor for the right candidate.
