Teacher of IELTS
We are currently looking to recruit reliable, professional and experienced IELTS teachers to join our teaching team.
Full time salary 63,000 THB p/m
Teachers will primarily deliver IELTS preparation classes to Year 10 and Year 11 students, working with groups of approximately 20 students. In addition, teachers may undertake other teaching responsibilities within the wider Westminster School of English, including IELTS and Academic English classes for adult learners in smaller groups.
Part-time positions available, with remuneration paid pro-rata according to agreed teaching hours.
Your responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and effective IELTS preparation lessons, primarily to Year 10 and Year 11 students.
• Teach classes of approximately 20 students.
• Undertake additional teaching assignments with adult learners within Westminster School of English, as required.
• Develop students' academic English skills and prepare them for the IELTS examination.
• Follow agreed schemes of work and use appropriate teaching resources.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Your profile
You MUST:
• Be familiar with the IELTS examination and its assessment requirements.
• Have experience teaching IELTS or Academic English.
• Use student-centred, communicative teaching methodologies.
• Be a native English speaker (UK, Ireland, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa).
• Have a professional attitude and strong classroom management skills.
• Hold a minimum 120-hour classroom-based teaching qualification (e.g. CELTA or equivalent).
Remuneration: Teachers will be paid on a pro-rata basis, calculated according to their agreed teaching commitment and the equivalent full-time salary.
