Tara Pattana International School seeks a talented, innovative and ambitious teacher of ELLS for August 2025. This is an exciting time to join TPIS as we are increasing our numbers on role significantly and recruiting several new staff to meet this need. If you have high expectations of teaching and learning and have a natural passion for improving opportunities for children to nurture their aspirations, then this could be the role for you. 

The ideal candidate will have experience of teaching English language, a thorough knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and prior experience of supporting students who are learning English as an additional language or who require extra support in their English-language learning; a TEFL qualification is an added bonus.

They should be highly professional but flexible in their approach, willing to take on a variety of tasks and fit into the wider community life. There are also some key criteria that must be fulfilled to qualify for a visa and work permit.

The successful candidate will be:

• A fully qualified teacher
• Able to teach from Year 1 - Year 9 with a view to offering IGCSE Languages in the future
• Have excellent subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students 
• Be flexible and positive in their approach to working in an all-through international school
• Be a team player and willing to commit to our co-curricular activities programme
• Able to build relationships with students, parents, administrative staff and colleagues
• Culturally sensitive
• Enthusiastic about taking responsibility for their own professional development and keeping up-to-date with current educational research and developments.
