The growth of the school demands teaching at Key Stages 3 and 4 and so specialists here would be valued, as is strong subject and pedagogical knowledge. An excellent and proven track record of teaching The National Curriculum for England and both English Language and English Literature courses up to, and including, Key Stage 4 is required; Key Stage 5 experience is advantageous, but not necessary. The department runs a rich and varied co-curricular programme that all staff contribute to and demonstrate strong commitment to raising the profile of the English Department across the school.
