The Position:
The school wishes to appoint a dedicated, well-qualified Teacher of Design and Technology to develop and deliver an outstanding learning experience for our students. They will have a focus on student-centred learning such as practical work and have a strong subject knowledge to engage, inspire and extend the students.
We are seeking an energetic and creative individual to teach Design and Technology to 11-18 year old students, with experience teaching GCSE and A Level courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, hands-on lessons that inspire students to develop their creativity and practical skills.
Our aim is to nurture the creative potential of all students, and to cultivate an enthusiasm for Design and Technology that extends beyond the classroom. We hope that the experiences and skills our students gain in Design and Technology will encourage them to pursue careers in design and engineering after they graduate
Since 2020 we have grown rapidly and this is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who will inspire, set the highest of standards and build systems to ensure that as we continue to grow we set the scene for future excellence.
This position will also play an active role in the co-curricular and pastoral aspects of the school with the opportunity of being a form tutor for the right candidate.
