Job overviewSingapore International School Thonburi, a member of SISB Schools, is looking for an enthusiastic Mandarin teacher who can

make students want to learn Chinese. The successful candidate will combine strong subject knowledge with the ability to engage, motivate and inspire students, helping them develop both confidence in using the language and a genuine interest in Chinese language and culture.

We are looking for someone who:

Holds a degree in Chinese Language, Chinese Studies or a closely related field
Has a minimum of two years’ teaching experience.
Has very strong knowledge and command of Chinese language and effective approaches to language teaching, with a focus on middle-school students.
Can create engaging lessons that encourage students to participate, communicate and make progress.
Is passionate about their subject and able to inspire that passion in students.
Works positively and collaboratively with colleagues.
