Job overview

Brighton College Bangkok seeks to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Business (and Economics) to join our Senior School from August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, rigorous and intellectually challenging lessons in Business at IGCSE and BTEC. There may also be an opportunity to teach Economics at IGCSE and A level. In addition, some experience of teaching Humanities at Key Stage 3 would be an advantage, as the role may include teaching Story of Our Land (SOOL) – a distinctive cross-curricular course that draws on history, geography and other humanities disciplines to help pupils understand the development of the world and societies over time in a connected, meaningful and coherent way. The post holder will uphold the highest standards of teaching and academic progress, inspire critical thinking about business, economics and globalisation, and contribute fully to the wider life of the school through enrichment and co-curricular activities.

The successful applicant will be required to submit a current police criminal clearance record or equivalent from their home country or country of residence prior to appointment. All applicants will be required upon appointment to submit an ICPC (International Child Protection Certificate). Further checks will include full international and national career history and Prohibition from Teaching checks upon appointment.
