International School of Chonburi (ISC) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Special Education Teacher with a strong passion for behaviour intervention and experience supporting children aged 2–10. We are looking for someone who believes in inclusive education, understands early childhood and primary needs, and can work collaboratively with teachers, families, and the wider support team.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver targeted intervention programmes for students with diverse learning needs, including behavioural, social–emotional, and developmental needs.

Implement evidence-based behaviour support strategies and work closely with teachers to ensure consistency across school environments.

Conduct assessments, prepare individual support plans, and monitor progress closely.

Provide coaching and guidance to teachers and teaching assistants on inclusive and developmentally appropriate practices.

Communicate clearly and professionally with families regarding strategies, progress, and next steps.

Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment for all children.

Requirements:

Degree in Special Education, Psychology, Education, or a related field.

Experience working with children aged 2–10, preferably in an international or inclusive school setting.

Strong understanding of behaviour intervention, functional behaviour assessment, and positive behaviour support approaches.

Ability to design and implement structured intervention programmes tailored to individual needs.

Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Commitment to inclusive, child-centred practice.

Preferred Qualifications and Training:

Candidates with additional specialised training or certification will be given preference, including:

CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) foundations for children

ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis)

DIR/Floortime

Developmental, Individual Differences & Relationship-Based Model (DIR)

DDSM or other developmental/behavioural support frameworks

Experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD, selective mutism, developmental delays, or behavioural challenges.
