In our founding years, the Senior School roles at DCBK are distinctly different and they will develop as we grow year on year.  Senior School teachers will teach different aligned subjects, as well as having a strong enjoyment of working with Key Stage 3 students.  
  
We are looking for are:  

  
A teacher of Science and Maths – Essential: Maths, Science.  Desirable: any other subject  
  
The Senior School at Dulwich College International, Bangkok builds on the strong foundations established in the Junior School, providing a dynamic, challenging, and supportive environment for students in Key Stages 3 and above (ages 11+). Dulwich College Bangkok (DCBK) welcomed its first students in August 2026 and has quickly established itself as a vibrant learning community. What You will Do

Professional Requirements

  • Safeguarding & Welfare: Actively promote student well-being, strictly upholding all college safeguarding policies, reporting lines, and restorative behavior management practices.

  • Health, Safety & Compliance: Maintain accurate attendance registers, uphold health and safety standards, and complete risk assessments, near-miss, and incident reports promptly.

  • Inclusion & Pastoral Care: Adjust teaching to support students requiring language or Additional Educational Needs (AEN); serve as a Form Tutor and carry out supervisory duties to ensure effective duty of care.

  • Collaboration & Community: Communicate respectfully with all stakeholders, collaborating across Primary, Senior School, DCBK, and the wider Dulwich group.

  • Co-Curricular Engagement: Support school activities, events, and service learning, delivering at least one hour of extra-curricular activities (ECA) weekly.

  • Professional Growth & Performance: Participate in annual performance reviews, complete required professional learning, and contribute directly to departmental, school, and whole-college improvement plans.

Teaching & Learning

  • Holistic Student Focus: Commit to "knowing the child"—accounting for physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and cultural factors—while fostering student agency and voice.

  • Homework & Extension: Assign purposeful, appropriately challenging homework that supports pre-learning, consolidates skills, and extends thinking.

Assessment, Monitoring, Recording & Reporting

  • Data-Informed Instruction: Leverage baseline and assessment data to establish individual targets, monitor progress, and guide instructional delivery.

  • Varied Assessment: Utilize diverse formative and summative assessment methods to accurately evaluate student growth and maintain academic integrity.

  • Actionable Feedback: Provide regular, constructive written and verbal feedback that empowers students to articulate next steps and take ownership of their learning.

  • Progress Reporting: Maintain accurate records, adhere to school grading policies, and deliver concise, personalized reporting to parents, students, and colleagues through formal consultations and regular updates.   

We are Looking for Someone Who

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • At least two years post qualification experience  

  • PGCE or QTS, Teaching License from non-UK countries are required  

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject area.  

  • Successful experience in working with students in Key Stage 3 (and Key Stage 2 is desirable)  

  • Demonstrated experience in inspiring students in a stimulating learning environment  

  • Previous experience in an international school and familiarity with the British education system is preferred  

  • Experience in teaching EAL students preferred  

  • Experience working in a high-performing school  

  • Ability to analyse student data and promote student achievement  

  • Demonstrated experience of the use of educational ICT to promote learning  

  • An understanding of how the learning continuum flows through the College  

  • Commitment to supporting all aspects of our programme including extracurricular activities and contribution to the school community and events  

  • Commitment to being a team player and showing strong collaborative skills  

  • Positive management of students’ behaviour  

  • Strong, clear communication and listening skills
