BRIEF OVERVIEW OF ROLE

In our founding years, the Senior School roles at DCBK are distinctly different and they will develop as we grow year on year. Senior School teachers will teach different aligned subjects (such as Science and Maths), as well as having a strong enjoyment of working with Key Stage 3 students and also Key Stage 2 students as these roles will have whole-school elements.

Typical blends we are looking for are:

  • A teacher of the Arts – Essential: English, Drama. Desirable: Art, an MFL
  • A teacher of the Sciences – Essential: Maths, Science. Desirable: Computer Science, Design Tech
  • A teacher of Humanities – Essential: History, Geography. Desirable: To lead on PSHE, Wellbeing, Student Leadership

Post-holder Qualifications, Experience:

  • At least two years post-qualification experience
