Job overview

Anglo Singapore International School is seeking a compassionate, professional, and experienced Secondary School Counsellor to join our dynamic and multicultural community. The successful candidate will provide academic, social-emotional, and career counselling to our secondary students, guiding them through their personal development and future academic pathways.

 

Key Responsibilities

Provide individual and group counselling sessions to support students’ social, emotional, academic, and behavioural growth.

Offer career and university guidance, assisting students in identifying interests, setting goals, and preparing for higher education pathways.

Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school leaders to support student well-being and achievement.

Design and implement counselling and life skills programmes tailored to secondary students’ needs.

Conduct workshops or sessions related to mental health awareness, study skills, and career readiness.

Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional and ethical counselling standards at all times.

 

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Counselling, Psychology, Education, or a related field.

Prior experience working with secondary school students is highly preferred.

Experience and ability in career and university counselling are essential.

Native English speaker.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse school environment.
