St. Andrews S107 is situated on a large, green campus located next to Bearing BTS station in Bangkok. The school caters for the Nursery to Year 13 age range and has approximately 700 students for over 40 different nationalities. In Secondary, St. Andrews S107 uses the English National Curriculum, leading to IGCSEs and the IB Diploma Programme. We also offer pathways such as BTECs and the IBCP for those who would benefit.

The school now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Secondary Music Teacher (with possible leadership role) to join our fantastic team.

About the role 

 Responsibilities

  • Hgh Quality Teaching Practice
  • Contribution to Learning Area and Curriculum Development
  • Building Relationships with Students, Staff and Parents
  • Contribution to the Whole School

We are looking for a team member with the following;

  • Degree in Music or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of music curriculum and the ability to implement it
  • A relevant teaching certificate or license.
  • A minimum of 3 years FT teaching experience in a recognised educational institution
  • Willingness to fully contribute to wider school events
  • Excellent communication skills, multi-tasking and time management
  • Ability to work as a part of a team and an interest in participating in the wider school community
  • Experience of teaching IGCSE or GCSE essential 
  • Experience of teaching A-Level or IBDP desirable 
  • Proven track record of leading high quality extra-curricular music opportunities and growing the profile of music schoolwide essential
