1. Qualified teacher, fluent English speaker with excellent verbal and writing skills;
2. Hold a degree from a recognised institution (no lower than Bachelor) and a recognised teaching qualification;
3. With preferably a minimum of two years of relevant teaching experience in graduating country;
4. NC / IGCSE / A Level experience where appropriate.
SUIS Pudong is a member of the largest educational not-for-profit organization (Xiehe) in Shanghai. The campus accommodates two separate schools, 'International' and one that uses a version of the Chinese National Curriculum called 'Premier'. We seek qualified and experienced teachers to join us in maintaining our excellent reputation for international education here in China.
The International School is unique in Xiehe in that it uses the same curriculum in a whole-through 'East meets West' primary and secondary programme on the same campus. Our school adopts the National Curriculum for England (NCfE) throughout as its foundation in preparation for pupils to be admitted to the best universities in the world. This ensures our students gain a consistent education, while transition from Primary and Secondary is excellent.
