We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Secondary Mathematics Teacher specializing in IGCSE/A Level curriculum to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Mathematics to Secondary students, including IGCSE and A-Level classes, using engaging, student-centred methods.
Plan and deliver well-structured, differentiated lessons that support a wide range of learning abilities and academic goals.
Prepare students thoroughly for Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level Mathematics examinations, ensuring high achievement and progress.
Monitor and assess student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback and academic support.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and challenging classroom environment that promotes mathematical thinking and resilience.
Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding academic progress and student development.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and excellence across the Mathematics department.
Participate in school-wide events, co-curricular activities, and continuous professional development.
Qualifications and Experience:
Native-level English speaker (required).
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
A minimum of 2–3 years of experience teaching Mathematics at the Secondary level, including IGCSE and A-Level.
Strong knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum is essential.
Proven ability to motivate and challenge students to achieve academic excellence.
Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
A reflective, collaborative, and student-centred approach to teaching.
