It is not essential to have previously taught IBDP English , however experience in teaching IBDP English Language and Literature would be an advantage. A willingness to grow professionally is important and training and professional development will be fully supported.

Other requirements of the post include:

  • Experience of teaching in an inclusive secondary school;
  • Experience of the English National KS3 and IGCSE curriculum is preferred, but with an open mind to take the curriculum beyond these parameters to be in keeping with an international context;
  • A desire to support, teach and enrich IB studies for our Year 12 and 13 students;
  • A flair to contribute to innovative curriculum design;
  • A passion for developing approaches to learning and skills that supports immediate and future success;
