We empower our diverse and inclusive community to take responsibility for creating a sustainable and peaceful world. The core values and character development of our students are also a high priority. We have a reputation for providing academic excellence coupled with individual and high-quality pastoral care.

Garden International School, Rayong, presents an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, successful school on Thailand’s beautiful Eastern Seaboard. We are looking to recruit an English as an Additional Language (EAL) teacher to start in August 2025. (Job Description here). In addition, the person will also take on the coordination of EAL across the Secondary School (Job Description here).

We are actively looking for a dynamic and experienced English as an Additional Language (EAL) teacher to become a valuable member of our team. The ideal candidate will possess the capability to instruct English to students from Year 7 to IB2, covering a diverse range of age groups and proficiency levels. It is crucial that applicants have prior experience in teaching IGCSE ESL or IB Language B.

Candidates with qualifications such as DELTA, CELTA, or ESOL will be viewed with preference. This additional credential is considered beneficial and will be weighed positively in the selection process. If you are passionate about teaching English and have the requisite experience, we encourage you to apply and contribute to our team.

Our school offers a vibrant and diverse extracurricular program, and we especially welcome candidates who can coach sports such as football, swimming, basketball, and volleyball. Additionally, we are actively developing our Model United Nations programme and the International Duke of Edinburgh Award. We are eager to engage enthusiastic staff who are passionate about contributing to these initiatives.

Garden International School is a coeducational school of around 500 students, with classes from Early Years to Year 13. We have over 40 nationalities represented in our community and use an educational framework based on the English National Curriculum, leading to IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Many of our students have English as an Additional Language, and these students are supported by a strong English as an Additional Language department. We have a small boarding facility, and the school has a wonderful sense of community. Class sizes are generally small, with students who are well-motivated, engaged in their learning, and supported by their families. Our academic results are consistently impressive, with around 90% of students achieving five or more A*-C grades at IGCSE and an IB average point score of 31.

Our school is fully accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) and the Thai Ministry of Education (ONESQA). We are affiliated with the International Schools Association of Thailand (ISAT) and the Department for Education in the United Kingdom. We are also a founder member of the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA).
