Primary Support for Learning Teacher (Starting 2026/27)

(Teaching Qualification (e.g., QTS) & TRN or Equivalent Required)

Bangkok Patana School seeks qualified and passionate Support for Learning teacher to join our dynamic and highly collaborative team within the Primary School.

Our Support for Learning teachers play a central role in ensuring that all learners are able to access, participate in, and thrive within the Primary curriculum. They work collaboratively with class teachers, year group leaders, other specialists, and families to design and implement targeted, responsive support that reflects our standards and values. Through careful assessment, thoughtful planning, and inclusive practice, they help remove barriers to learning, strengthen student confidence and independence, and promote a strong sense of belonging. Their work supports consistency, continuity, and positive progression for learners across the Primary School.

Why Bangkok Patana?
Our campus offers state-of-the-art facilities, including specialist classrooms, extensive digital resources, and a thriving extracurricular programme. Set in vibrant Bangkok, you will enjoy one of the most dynamic cities in Asia with a welcoming expatriate community, excellent professional development opportunities, and a supportive, collaborative team culture.

Is this a good fit for you?

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, thoughtful, and forward-looking Primary practitioner who thrives in a collaborative environment and brings warmth, clarity, and professionalism to their work. You will hold a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent with QTS) and have a strong track record in working in Inclusion and SEND. Experience in international or culturally diverse settings is an advantage, as is an understanding of Early Years. Most importantly, you will be committed to fostering curiosity, confidence, and well-being in every child, and to contributing positively to our vibrant school community.

Our Mission and Values:

Our mission is to ensure that students of different nationalities grow to their full potential as independent learners in a caring British international community. We develop global citizens who shape their world through independence, empathy, creativity and critical thinking.

Safeguarding Commitment:

We expect all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share our commitment and to review and affirm that they have read, understood and will abide by our safeguarding policies. We use recruitment practices and pre-employment background checks to maintain the highest standards of safeguarding and child safety. These are aligned with the written expectations of the International Taskforce on Child Protection.

Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Anti-Discrimination

Our polices and practice are shaped by the diverse international community we serve. We treat all members of our School community including colleagues, students and members of the public fairly and consistently, in a non-discriminatory manner and with proper regard for their rights and obligations.
