Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Key Stage 2 ICT Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging ICT lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum, with a strong emphasis on STEM integration. You will be responsible for fostering digital literacy, problem-solving skills, and a passion for technology among students aged 7–11.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver ICT lessons in accordance with the Cambridge curriculum.
- Integrate STEM concepts into lessons, encouraging critical thinking and hands-on learning.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and digital tools to support diverse learning styles.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress.
- Promote safe and responsible use of technology.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular STEM projects.
- Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Knowledge of Scratch and Tinker CAD (3D printing), Bee-bots and Ozobots are highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, ICT, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification and experience with Key Stage 2 students.
- Familiarity with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
