Finnway is seeking a passionate Primary Homeroom Teacher to join our growing international community. Inspired by Finnish education, we focus on meaningful, student-centred learning, well-being, and real-world connections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach core subjects (English, Math, Science, History, PBL)
• Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom
• Assess and support student progress
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate with parents
Requirements:
• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education or a related field
• Has at least 2 years of experience teaching primary-aged students.
• Demonstrates strong classroom practice and a good understanding of child development
• Believes in student-centred, inquiry-based, and differentiated learning
• Is reflective, collaborative, and committed to continuous professional growth
• Can contribute positively to a warm, professional, and team-oriented school culture
• Has experience in an international school or with an international or Finnish-inspired curriculum
(preferred)
