Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Physics Teacher to teach courses under both the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and A Level programs. The ideal candidate will be capable of delivering rigorous academic content, preparing students for university entrance, and inspiring a deep understanding of physics.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Physics to high school students following the OSSD and A-Level curriculum.
Develop lesson plans, assessments, and materials that align with the OSSD and A-Level standards.
Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
Provide individual support and guidance to students to ensure academic success.
Evaluate student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Stay updated with the latest educational trends, scientific advancements, and pedagogical techniques.
Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and contribute to the development of the curriculum.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and report on progress.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Physics or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Teaching certification (OSSD, A-Level, or equivalent).
Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in Physics at the high school level.
In-depth knowledge of the OSSD and A-Level Physics curricula.
Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Experience in using educational technology and online platforms for teaching.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
Fluency in English
