About the Role
One Hope International School (OHIS) is seeking a qualified Native English-speaking Primary/Secondary Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our vibrant, values-driven learning community.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Physical Education to students in Grades 4, 5, 6, and 7, promoting physical development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles. This role is suited for an experienced and committed educator who values professionalism, structure, and long-term growth within an international school setting.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Physical Education to students from Kindergarten to Grade 7
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate PE lessons focused on fitness, coordination, teamwork, and skill development.
Create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Build and support school sports teams and encourage student participation in athletics.
Assist in organizing inter-school sports events, friendly matches, and tournaments.
Promote positive behavior, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Collaborate with colleagues to support school-wide development and teamwork initiatives.
Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional responsibilities as required.
Requirements (Must Have)
Native English Speaker Only
Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Kinesiology, or a closely related field (mandatory)
· Proven experience teaching P.E at the upper primary or lower secondary level
· Ability to coach and manage basic school sports programs
· Strong classroom and field management skills
· Willingness to work with multilingual and multicultural students
· Professional attitude, reliability, and teamwork mindset
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in international schools or multicultural environments
Coaching certifications or formal training in one or more sports
Experience organizing school teams, leagues, or tournaments
Knowledge of student safety, injury prevention, and physical development
Long-term mindset and willingness to grow with the school
