Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Part-time Teacher to join the Sakamoto franchise. The teacher will deliver high-quality mathematics instruction to students in small groups, helping them strengthen foundational skills, improve academic performance, and build confidence in math.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach mathematics to students ranging from pre-school, elementary and junior high school
• Deliver structured lessons aligned with the franchise curriculum and learning objectives
• Adapt instruction to meet individual student learning needs and abilities
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and practice materials as required
• Maintain a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
• Support students with homework, exam preparation, and skill reinforcement
• Participate in training, meetings, and professional development sessions
• Uphold center policies, academic standards, and teaching methodologies
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (preferred)
• Prior experience teaching or tutoring mathematics
• Strong understanding of math concepts appropriate for the assigned grade levels
• Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging way
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, reliable, and student-focused approach
• Ability to work evenings and weekends consistently
Preferred Skills & Experience
• Experience working in tutoring centers or enrichment programs
• Familiarity with standardized test preparation
• Classroom management skills in small-group settings
• Passion for education and student success
