We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery/Early Years Teacher to join our team. Are you passionate about nurturing the youngest minds? Our international school is seeking a dedicated and caring Nursery Teacher to join our team, working with children aged 16 months to 3 years old.
Position: Nursery/Early Years Class Teacher
Do you have:
- A patient, caring, calm, yet assertive and responsible nature
- A passion to work within the Childcare and Education industry and with young children
- General fitness, as you’ll be on your feet and moving around for the majority of the day
- A positive, can-do attitude and enthusiastic approach to tasks
- Knowledge of the EYFS United Kingdom curriculum
- Experience working in an international school setting is advantageous.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in children.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving school environment.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors Degree and one of the following -
- NNEB
- CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce
- BTEC National Diploma in Children's Care, Learning & Development
- NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning & Development
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and play-based provision that inspires and motivates children.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with English as an additional language.
- Assess, monitor, and report on children's progress, providing constructive feedback to foster improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and ethos.
- Promote a positive and safe learning environment, encouraging good behaviour and respect among students.
