
Kindergarten Teacher’s Duties & Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate kindergarten teacher to join our holistic education team. Due to the language-immersion nature of our program, native English speakers are strongly preferred, as language modeling plays a central role in early childhood development.
- Foster students' development by designing value-based lesson plans that integrate holistic learning of the head, hand, and heart.
- Create and maintain a warm, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment where students feel safe and at home.
- Assist with daily classroom operations, including chores, cooking, and cleaning, to promote a sense of responsibility and cooperation.
- Set up learning centers tailored to students' individual needs and interests, encouraging exploration and creativity.
- Design interactive language-learning activities in a mixed-age classroom and provide structured literacy lessons for KG3 students to build confidence before transitioning to primary school.
- Maintain regular communication with parents, hold termly meetings to discuss student progress, and participate in parent workshops (1–2 times per year).
- Engage in daily reflections with co-teachers and attend weekly team meetings to collaborate and enhance teaching practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with young children in a classroom setting
- Passion for holistic, child-centered education and experiential learning
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Native-level fluency in English is required; native English speakers are strongly preferred
- Willingness to engage in all aspects of school life, including shared responsibilities and community involvement
