Music Teacher with Potential for Creative Arts Leadership (Starting 2026/27)
(Teaching Qualification (e.g., QTS) & TRN or Equivalent Required)
Bangkok Patana School is seeking an exceptional Music Teacher, with additional Creative Arts team leadership responsibility, for August 2026.
The Music Teacher plays a central role in delivering high-quality music education that inspires creativity, expression, and a lifelong engagement with the arts. They design and teach a rich, inclusive music curriculum that supports technical skill, creative exploration, and performance, while contributing positively to the wider life of the school through ensembles, performances, and collaborative projects.
In addition to the core role of Music Teacher, there is the potential for an additional middle leadership responsibility, dependent on experience and school need. For the right candidate, this would involve leading the dynamic Creative Arts team (of two additional Music Teachers, one Drama specialist and one Art specialist) and contributing to the strategic development of Creative Arts provision across the school.
Both role descriptions are included below. Applicants must clearly state in their cover letter whether they are applying for:
· the Music Teacher role only, or
· the Music Teacher role with Creative Arts Leadership responsibility.

They will demonstrate secure and reflective classroom practice, high expectations, and a commitment to inclusive, engaging music education.

They will work collaboratively with colleagues, contribute positively to co-curricular music and performance opportunities, and show openness to professional growth.
For candidates with relevant leadership experience and aspiration, there is scope to contribute to Creative Arts team leadership and development through collaboration, curriculum innovation, and shared leadership across Music, Drama, and Visual Arts.
