Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
Minimum two years’ experience teaching high school Mathematics in international schools
Strong knowledge of high school Mathematics content, curriculum and the California Common Core State Standards (CCSS)
Experience using instructional technology in the classroom
Fluent in English; non-native English speakers must demonstrate high proficiency through acceptable standardized test scores, such as TOEFL or IELTS.

Develop unit and lesson plans with clear objectives, activities, resources and assessments
Prepare instructional materials, assessments and technology support in advance
Use varied teaching strategies to meet diverse student learning needs
Create a positive classroom environment with clear routines and effective behavior management
Integrate technology to support instruction and student skill development
Monitor student progress, provide timely feedback and offer academic support when needed
Design, assign and grade classwork, homework, quizzes, tests, exams and projects
Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance and student performance in PowerSchool
Communicate with students, parents and colleagues regarding student progress
Participate in meetings, parent conferences, collaborative planning, school events and academic activities
Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, reliability and ethical conduct
Perform additional duties as assigned
