Job Overview
This role includes teaching Mathematics across Key Stage 3, Cambridge IGCSE, and A-Level, with the opportunity to contribute to additional subject areas such as Business, Computing, or Global Perspectives, depending on the candidate’s expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality teaching in Mathematics across KS3–KS5
Prepare students for Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level Mathematics assessments
Develop engaging lessons that promote problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical thinking
Contribute to teaching in additional subject areas where appropriate
Support curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and academically focused classroom environment
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE with QTS or equivalent)
At least 2 years of teaching experience in an international school
Experience teaching IGCSE and/or A-Level Mathematics
Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach across multiple key stages
Excellent command of English (native-level fluency preferred)
Commitment to Values-based Education (VbE) and Enquiry-based Learning (EBL)
