Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate math lessons for primary and secondary students.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources—including Singapore Math methods where appropriate—to support conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and differentiated support.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement and contribute to reporting processes.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment that encourages inquiry and confidence in mathematics.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics or a closely related field (required).
- Demonstrated experience teaching mathematics at both primary and secondary school levels (required).
- Teaching experience in an international school environment or with Singapore Math curriculum is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of modern pedagogical approaches, differentiation, and student-centered learning.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and commitment to supporting each student’s growth.
