Roles and Responsibilities
Instruction & Learning Delivery
Follow provided lesson plans or adapt curriculum materials when needed
Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to meet diverse learner needs
Assess student understanding and provide timely feedback
Maintain continuity with American Curriculum
Classroom Management
Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
Manage student behavior in line with school policies
Foster respectful classroom culture aligned with international school values
Planning & Collaboration
Work closely with grade-level teams, subject departments, and coordinators
Attend planning meetings, briefings, and handover sessions
Communicate regularly with the permanent teacher (if available) or academic leadership
Assessment & Reporting
Record attendance, grades, and student progress
Contribute to report cards or progress reports if required
Provide feedback to support student development
Pastoral Care & Student Support
Support students’ social, emotional, and academic wellbeing
Refer concerns to counselors, homeroom teachers, or safeguarding teams when needed
Professional Responsibilities
Follow school safeguarding, child protection, and code of conduct policies
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
Maintain professionalism consistent with international school standards
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in international curricula (American)
Experience teaching Secondary levels
ICT-integrated teaching experience
Qualifications
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a subject-related field.
Teaching qualification such as PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent.
New Graduate is welcome.
Experience in international, bilingual, or English-medium schools is an advantage
Familiarity with American Curriculum is valued
