We are looking for an adaptable, experienced and committed Learning Support Assistant with a passion to support students with special educational needs, who has high expectations of children's learning, and an enthusiasm and passion for working with young people. The successful candidate needs to be able to demonstrate excellent classroom practice, the ability to motivate students, and a willingness to work in partnership with the staff team.

Candidates are expected to:
- Be enthusiastic, adaptable and highly committed
- Have a Bachelors Degree
- Have a teaching qualification (desirable)
- Experience working with SEN students (desirable)
- Have a TOEIC score of 800 or more (desirable - additional allowances are given for scores above 800)
- Have a minimum of two years’ teaching or school experience (desirable)
- Be located in Thailand
Areas of Responsibility and Key Tasks
SEND Teaching and Learning
- Work closely with the SENDCO and SEND team to support the educational and social development of students with SEND, providing support as needed.
- Implement agreed learning activities or teaching programmes, adapting them to meet students’ individual needs, with a focus on speaking, listening, reading, writing, mathematics and social and emotional needs.
- Establish productive working relationships with students, acting as a role model and setting high expectations for behaviour and academic engagement.
- Collaborate with class teachers and the SENDCO to develop, adapt, and deliver programs of learning activities and materials suitable for bilingual contexts.
- Provide one-on-one and group support to help SEND students fully participate in classroom activities, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.
- Encourage students to interact and work cooperatively with others while engaging in planned activities.
- Support classroom behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Liaise with the SENDCO and named students with SEND, to monitor and implement student-led targets and actions
- Liaise with the SENDCO and all staff to identify SEND needs across the Secondary phase and to keep all documentation up to date
SEND Recording and Assessment
- Monitor and evaluate students’ responses to learning activities, recording observations and progress in line with Student Profiles (SPs) and Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Provide regular feedback to teachers and the SENDCO to ensure appropriate adjustments to teaching strategies and student targets.
- Contribute to the review and updating of plans for students, helping monitor progress against agreed goals.
Standards and Quality Assurance
- Support the aims and ethos of the school, with a particular focus on the SEND program.
- Actively participate in school-wide activities, staff training, and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) related to SEND and bilingual education.
- Uphold the school’s behaviour code, dress code, and health and safety protocols.
- Attend SEND team meetings, year group meetings, and whole-school staff meetings to contribute to the development and delivery of SEND strategies.
- Engage proactively in regular appraisals to evaluate and improve performance.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of displays, ensuring accessibility for SEND students.
- Provide morning supervision between 7:00 and 7:30.
- Support class teachers with administrative tasks, such as photocopying, to enhance classroom delivery.
- Help prepare the classroom environment to ensure it meets the needs of SEND students.
- Support the organization of school events, trips, and activities, ensuring appropriate accommodations for SEND students.
- Ensure the appropriate use and maintenance of specialist SEND equipment and resources.
- Follow and support procedures outlined in the Intimate Care Policy and Safeguarding.
