We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and experienced Kindergarten Mathematics and Science Teacher to join our vibrant international school community in Bangkok. The successful candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, with the ability to deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons in mathematics and science.
This is a full-time specialist teaching role, working closely with the Kindergarten team to inspire a love of numbers, patterns, and the natural world, while supporting the holistic growth of each child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess mathematics and science lessons tailored to the developmental needs of Kindergarten children.
- Use play-based, practical, and interactive approaches to introduce foundational numeracy and scientific concepts.
- Design and implement engaging experiments, activities, and projects that encourage curiosity and exploration.
- Collaborate with homeroom teachers to integrate mathematics and science learning across the curriculum.
- Track and assess student learning using age-appropriate tools and observations.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress through meetings, reports, and informal updates.
- Participate in school-wide events, field trips, professional development, and community activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Native English speaker (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Science Education, Mathematics Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
- At least 2–3 years of teaching experience in Kindergarten or Early Years settings, with a focus on mathematics and/or science.
- Strong understanding of early numeracy development and inquiry-based science teaching.
- Familiarity with hands-on, child-centred, and play-based teaching methods.
- Experience in international or multicultural settings is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- A nurturing, energetic, and flexible teaching style with a deep commitment to early childhood education.
