POSITION: Kindergarten & Primary Physical Education Teacher

Key Responsibilities
Teach Physical Education to Kindergarten and Primary students using engaging, age-appropriate, and student-centred approaches.
Plan and deliver well-structured, differentiated lessons that develop fundamental movement skills, physical fitness, coordination, and teamwork.
Promote healthy lifestyles, sportsmanship, resilience, and positive attitudes towards physical activity.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual development.
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages active participation from all students.
Organise and support school sporting events, activities, and inter-house competitions.
Ensure the safe use and maintenance of sports equipment and facilities.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ progress, participation, and physical development.
Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular learning and contribute to the wider school community.
Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education
Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent).
Minimum of 2–3 years’ teaching experience, preferably in Kindergarten and/or Primary Physical Education.
Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate physical education practices.
Experience in planning and delivering engaging PE programmes for young learners.
Strong proficiency in English for teaching and professional communication.
Excellent classroom management, organisational, and communication skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
A commitment to promoting health, wellbeing, and lifelong physical activity.
Experience with international curricula, including Cambridge, is an advantage but not essential.
