Key Stage 2 Classroom Teacher

Qualifications:
- B.Ed (Hons) with QTS or equivalent (e.g., PGCE, PGDE)
Main Job and Responsibilities:
- Ensure meticulous planning, assessments, and observations are completed to the highest standard, reviewed, and effectively communicated to line managers and parents.
- Cultivate a stimulating and inspiring classroom, equipped with resources accessible to all children.
- Build and maintain professional relationships within the school community.
- Provide both written reports and engaging informal dialogues to parents on the development, progress, and attainment of children.
- Coordinate, work, support, and lead staff teams within the classroom and school where appropriate.
- Collaborate with others to maximize effectiveness, raise standards, and plan interventions to meet learner needs, ultimately improving pupil outcomes.
- Collaborate with management to ensure continuous professional development and critical performance analysis; attend INSET days, and contribute to staff development.
- Show a willingness to take on extracurricular activities and/or subject leadership.
- Act as a positive role model, showcasing enthusiasm for personal development and learning.
Skills/Abilities:
- Possess knowledge and a keen interest in how children learn and how this can be applied to a learning environment.
- Utilize teaching methods that capture pupils' interest, maintain their engagement, and encourage them to develop a lifelong love of learning.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and class management skills to promote an effective learning environment.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Showcase experience or knowledge in planning lessons and activities for EAL learners.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team in planning and implementing the school's curriculum, strategic plans, and policies.
- Display resilience and adaptability to work in a different cultural setting.
- Commit to continuous professional development and strive for continuous improvement.
- Uphold high standards of child safety and safeguarding, demonstrating responsibility at all times.
- Commit to representing the school positively both inside and outside the classroom, upholding the high standards of respect ingrained in Thai culture and international mindedness.

Requirements:
- At least 1 year's teaching experience.
- Fluent English speaker.
- Up-to-date DBS or police check equivalent to work with children.
- Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum is essential.
- Familiarity with the IPC curriculum is advantageous.
- Experience working in Key Stage 2 is a plus.
- Experience with EAL learners is beneficial.
- Experience in teaching the Read Write Inc. phonics program or alternative is an advantage.
Contract type:
- 2-year contract (renewable).
