POSITION: KEY STAGE 1 TEACHER
Highgate International School Thailand will open in August 2026. A premium international school located in the beautiful province of Chonburi, it will cater for students between the ages of 2 and 18.
Operated in partnership with Siam Motors Group and Highgate School, London, staff will enjoy access to a wide range of world-class facilities, to include a full-sized FIFA approved football pitch, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a 450-seater auditorium, a black-box theatre, a STEM building and a Library and Digital Media Centre. They will draw upon a rich academic heritage spanning 460 years.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Key Stage 1 Teacher will:
· Plan, implement and review an engaging and responsive programme of study for a class of capable multi-lingual students based upon either the Early Years and Foundation Stage framework or Key Stage 1 objectives drawn from the English National Curriculum
· Record, engage with and utilise both formative and summative attainment data
· Foster curiosity, rigour, engagement, enthusiasm, community and kindness among the student population
· Work in accordance with school policy and in the wider interests of the school
· Contribute positively to a school culture founded upon the considered maintenance of high expectations
· Communicate effectively with members of the wider school community
· Attend regular meetings and support the safe running of the school campus

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
The Key Stage 1 Teacher will:
· Be a fully qualified primary teacher with QTS
· Have a minimum of three years of post-qualification experience
· Have a full working knowledge of the English National Curriculum
· Have experience of supporting the development of young people who hold English as an additional language
