Key Stage 1 Teacher (Starting 2026/27)
(Teaching Qualification (e.g., QTS) & TRN or Equivalent Required)
For August 2026, Bangkok Patana School seeks a qualified and passionate Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our dynamic and highly collaborative Primary team.
Key Stage 1 teachers play a pivotal role in building strong foundations for learning, supporting children as they develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning. They create inclusive, engaging classroom environments where high expectations are balanced with care, curiosity, and joy. Teaching is guided by the Primary Framework for Teaching and Learning and underpinned by our Safe – Curious – Kind ethos.
Teachers in Key Stage 1 plan and deliver a rich, well-sequenced curriculum that supports the development of early literacy, numeracy, and learning behaviours, while nurturing the whole child. Through purposeful teaching, thoughtful assessment, and responsive practice, they ensure every child is known, supported, and appropriately challenged. Collaboration with colleagues, specialists, and families is central to the role, ensuring continuity, belonging, and a strong transition through the Primary years.

Is this a good fit for you?
The ideal candidate will be an experienced, creative, and reflective Key Stage 1 practitioner who thrives in a team-based environment and brings warmth, flexibility, and professionalism to all they do. You will hold a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent with QTS) and have proven success in delivering high-quality learning in a dynamic setting. Experience in international or multicultural schools will be an advantage. Above all, you will love working with young children and be committed to their well-being, curiosity, and growth.
