KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Chinese Teacher will:
Plan, implement and review an engaging and responsive Chinese programme of study for native and non-native Pre-Prep and Junior School students that subsumes linguistic, cultural and historical aspects of learning
Record, engage with and utilise both formative and summative attainment data
Foster curiosity, rigour, engagement, enthusiasm, community and kindness among the student population
Work in accordance with school policy and in the wider interests of the school
Contribute positively to a school culture founded upon the considered maintenance of high expectations
Communicate effectively with members of the wider school community
Attend regular meetings and support the safe running of the school campus

Be a fully qualified primary teacher
Have a minimum of three years of post-qualification experience
Be a native-level user of Chinese (Mandarin)
