Meritton British International School is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Junior PE Teacher to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and age-appropriate Physical Education lessons to pupils in Early Years through Year 4, fostering a love for sport, movement, and healthy living.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons for Early Years and Lower Primary students (EY–Year 4).
- Promote physical development, motor skills, teamwork, and enjoyment of physical activity.
- Support whole-school sports events and activities.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field (or equivalent teaching qualification).
- Experience teaching PE to younger age groups (Early Years/Primary) is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young learners.
- A Swimming Coach Certificate is advantageous but not required.
