KIS International School, Bangkok, a four-programme IB World School, is seeking an innovative and passionate Information Literacy and Library Specialistto join our vibrant community. This position supports student learning from Early Years through Grade 5.

The successful candidate will be an experienced, collaborative educator who empowers students to become curious, critical, and ethical users and creators of information. They will cultivate a love of reading and inquiry while integrating information and digital literacy across the curriculum. Working closely with our PYP team, the specialist will design meaningful, concept-driven learning experiences that reflect the philosophy of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and support the developmental needs of young learners.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Library and Information Science, or a related field required; a Master’s degree is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated experience in library leadership, information literacy instruction, or inquiry-based learning environments.
  • Knowledge of the IB PYP and familiarity with information literacy frameworks such as the ISTE Standards.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to fostering reading engagement, ethical information use, and authentic student inquiry.
