Key Responsibilities
Teach Cambridge IGCSE Physics (0625) to Secondary students.
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Physics lessons.
Prepare students effectively for Cambridge IGCSE examinations.
Conduct practical experiments and laboratory activities safely and effectively.
Assess and monitor students’ academic progress and provide appropriate feedback.
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
Contribute to the development of the Science Department and wider school activities.
Maintain a positive, supportive and professional learning environment.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, Science Education, or a related field.
A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, or equivalent.
Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Physics (0625)
Strong knowledge of the Cambridge IGCSE Physics syllabus and assessment requirements.
Experience preparing students for external examinations.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Commitment to student learning, academic achievement and pastoral care.
