The American School of Bangkok Green Valley (ASBGV) is seeking a passionate and experienced High School Science Teacher with expertise in Chemistry, particularly in Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) programs.
The successful candidate will teach Chemistry at the high school level, including AP Chemistry, IB Chemistry, and related courses. Responsibilities include designing and delivering engaging, inquiry-based lessons that support diverse learning styles, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and integrating technology effectively into the classroom. Collaboration with colleagues to align curriculum and a commitment to student success are essential.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of high school teaching experience, with AP or IB Chemistry experience strongly preferred.
Strong subject knowledge and ability to differentiate instruction.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
