We are seeking experienced and passionate teachers for posts commencing in August 2026. Successful applicants are offered two year renewable contracts with highly competitive terms of employment and outstanding working conditions.

Experience and qualifications

●       Experience in managing tennis coaching programmes across multiple age groups and ability levels

●       Appropriate degree, with UK PGCE, or other teaching qualification

●       Strong tennis technical and tactical knowledge across both performance and recreational pathways

●       Proven leadership and programme management experience within a sports academy or similar environment

●       Ability to plan and deliver high-quality tennis training sessions, squads, and competition preparation

●       Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

●       Excellent organisational, administrative, and communication skills

●       Commitment to child protection, safeguarding, and promoting the welfare of young people

●       Recognised Tennis Coaching Qualification (national governing body or international equivalent, Level 2 or higher preferred)

●       Experience in budget management, resource planning, and equipment procurement

●       Experience coaching in a school, academy, club, or high-performance tennis environment

●       Ability to mentor, guide, and support the development of other tennis coaches

●       Experience managing or coaching advanced/performance-level players and competitive squads

●       Deep understanding of tennis techniques, tactical frameworks, scoring formats, and competition rules

●       Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to support training and competitions

●       Demonstrates high professional standards and prioritises student wellbeing at all times

●       Respect for all members of the school community, irrespective of position, gender, age, or cultural background

●       Experience working with students for whom English is an additional language (desirable)

●   A positive, proactive, and solution-focused attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure
